We had a family celebration meal here, there were 16 of us. The staff were very accommodating and pleasant, they couldn't do enough to make our evening a success. The meal service was excellent and the food was so good! I had a braised beef meal, there was enough meat for 2 and it was cooked to perfection. Just what you would expect from a "British Pub". All the meals were served at the same time, give or take a few minutes, which is excellent given the number of guests. We had our own cake, the staff took it and stored it in the fridge until we were ready for it. They brought it out with some candles on it, (I had forgotten them) and I thought that was a really nice touch. They also supplied plates and forks and a nice big knife to cut it. All in all it was a lovely evening and I will definitely re-visit and recommend.

My wife and I went to the Swan on the Rideau for the first time on our anniversary. Wow, we could tell as soon as we walked in that it was going to be a great place to enjoy a meal. The menu was small, so it was very easy to find a meal. The servers were very professional and knowledgeable about the food. We ordered and it didn't take long and our food was brought to us. It looked and tasted fantastic! We will be back! Thank you for a wonderful meal.

The lamb was amazing. The duck was overdone. It actually hurt my jaw. But the star of the show was the delicious Sangria! We plan to go back and try everything on the menu! Our waitress wasn't particularly warm, and inviting. The service was just okay.

Literally so good. The beef liver was delicious. Will be my new favorite restaurant in the Ottawa valley. Food was hot and fresh and I like how their menu has choices other than pub grub. Lots of elevated dishes for a good price. Fresh and delicious. Friendly staff. Hidden gem.

I've been coming here for decades, and it keeps getting better and better. Incredible owner and staff. You can't find more accommodating or friendly wait staff and bartenders. Excellent place to have a celebration of any kind. There is a covered patio and an outdoor patio, so this place can accommodate any weather. If there is a ho-hum food item, i haven't found it yet. I recently had the bison burger and a delish side salad. Menu favorites are the beer battered fish and chips (huge portion), and the lamb lollipops was a favorite of my dad's. Sit by the fireplace or hold an event upstairs. You can't go wrong. 10/10 and 6 out of 5 stars for this gem located near the 416 highway and a cozy little marina. Lots of free parking and hard to miss from the intersection.

Fantastic food, incredible service and hospitality. The specials are always unique and delicious! The care put into every meal is truly worth a visit that will surely make you a regular. The fish and chips are a must, the tartare sauce is to die for. A truly welcoming place. An easy five stars!

Excellent service by the staff. Fabulous English Tudor-themed river-side ambience. I ordered the liver and onions dish - best found yet anywhere on sale in the Ottawa River Valley, except perhaps for the same dish that I make at home. Crispy sprouts, juicy mash potatoes, flavourful caramelized onions and great quality liver, bathed in rich gravy sauce. Good selection of beers at prevailing market rates. Dessert was a little on the expensive side, at C$10.00 for a standard-sized slice. Overall, still a highly recommended venue.

Always a great place to have drinks and dine! The Lobster Scampi is sensational! Piripiri chicken is perfect! The apps alone are great to make a night of it. I have never eaten something here that I don't like! Always recommend!
